“I’m Uday Kumar, known online as Uday Royce, a travel and devotional content creator from Hyderabad. It’s been five years since I started my vlogging journey, and it has completely changed the way I see life.
Before this, I worked as a manager for celebrities. I’ve always been passionate about photography and filmmaking since my childhood, even though I pursued civil engineering academically. At one point, I felt why stay behind the camera when I could share my own vision and experiences directly. That’s how I decided to step forward and start documenting my travels.

What began as simple travel videos slowly turned into a spiritual and historical journey. I started visiting ancient temples, some several hundred or thousand years old, and sharing their stories online. I realised that not everyone gets the chance to visit such places, so I wanted to bring that experience to people through my videos.

I started from scratch, learning YouTube video creation, editing tools, and shooting everything all alone using my basic gear such as Insta360 vlogging camera, iPhone 15 phone, and Hollyland microphone. It wasn’t easy in the beginning, but the encouragement I received kept me going. Many elderly viewers bless me through their comments, saying they feel connected to those divine places through my videos. That means more to me than any number or view count.

My goal now is to cover every remote historic temple across India, capturing the depth of each village’s spiritual roots. Once that’s complete, I want to explore ancient devotional traditions beyond borders to understand and document how our culture connects us across lands.

There have been challenges too, from unpredictable weather to difficult treks. My recent Ahobilam trek was one of the toughest yet most fulfilling experiences I’ve had. The energy of such places pushes me to go further each time.
I’m grateful for the encouragement from my family and people back home. My parents are happy seeing this journey unfold, and their support means everything.
Recently, I attended Koti Deepotsavam 2025 in Hyderabad, organised by Bhakthi TV. Witnessing the lighting of one crore diyas is something beyond words. I feel fortunate to be part of such a divine event that reminds us why India stands out in its spiritual search and sense of devotion.

This journey is far from over. With every video, every temple visit, and every comment I receive, I feel inspired to keep exploring and sharing India’s timeless stories, one divine place at a time.”
