"I don't think there is a job I know of that compares to teaching. The moment you become a teacher, there is a kind of trust and respect that students give you unhesitatingly. It made me wonder if I was doing enough to deserve that kind of admiration. My students would ask questions with complete confidence that I would be able to answer them. And they never doubted a word of my answer. When I understood the impact that my words had, I had to weigh my every response carefully. This pushed me to learn more and also behave in a manner that was worthy of the status I was yet to earn."
