By the way, I am a bisexual

"If the society can accept what happens in a public park amongst so called couples and even allow an admission fee, why should it have a problem with what consenting adults do in their homes? And so what...if these adults are married or not...or for that matter, straight or not? This is how I approach my life and others. I live my life on my terms and pretty chilled about it. By the way, I am a bisexual and an active participant in the LGBT community.
I underline 'By the way' in the above sentence as this is exactly how I feel about introducing myself. There is no sense of differentiation or a feeling of accomplishment. It's just like anyone telling their name or announcing if they were a man or woman. I am just being myself, plain and simple. So, are others with different sexual orientations. We are like any other human beings and deserve basic rights...including the one of being left alone and allowed to lead a complete life without being targeted or labelled
I am lucky that most of my friends accepted me the way I am, the ones that mattered anyway. I am also super lucky to have a dad who gave me the freedom to live my life. I understand that such freedom comes with responsibility. And I enjoy mine with lots of it"."If the society can accept what happens in a public park amongst so called couples and even allow an admission fee, why should it have a problem with what consenting adults do in their homes?
