From Canada, with Love...

"My husband and I shifted to Hyderabad six months ago, when I joined an international school here. We’ve loved the city for its people, food (Biryani, of course) and the culture. It’s fascinating how everybody comes together to celebrate all the festivals. Our best pastime, however, is to visit historical places. We have been to Charminar, Golconda Fort
and Qutb Shahi Tombs. We’re planning a trip to Ellora Caves in Aurangabad next month.
When you move to a foreign city, you’re often worried about fitting in. But here, we feel like Indians. When my husband met with an accident a few weeks ago, people everywhere (in hospital, our community
and school) were extremely helpful. Usually, I go to work and he manages household chores, which isn’t that common here. When he was bedridden, he felt he wasn’t doing his only duty of managing the house. He is a super active person, which is the reason why he doesn't look 57 (laughs). It was a tough time but we sailed through it. He’s back on his feet and is as active as he ever was. I love his determination. It’s been six years together now and it’s amazing how we are perfect for each other."
