Who run the world? Girls!

"There’s probably nothing in the world that I love as much as I’ve loved cinema. I knew I was going to end up in this field but wasn’t sure if it was directing, acting or styling. It’s all a dream come true, honestly. I’ve worked as an assistant director for five films and that itself is so much learning. In the last eight years of my stint with cinema, I’ve explored many aspects of filmmaking. There’s no better way to understand what you like the best than to try them yourself, right? I did just that and now, I know I want to be a director. I already have my script approved and got some wonderful tips from Sukumar himself. It’s going to be a low-budget film to start off, but I’m super optimistic about my future. When you’re hardworking and talented, you know you’re going to make your own path, irrespective of the field. Unlike what a lot of people say, I have never faced any kind of gender bias. In fact, there are lesser women than men who are looking for opportunities, so less competition and more jobs. Look at Mahanati’s team man. Most of the direction department were women. If you’re good at your work, you’ll find your way, or maybe make your own. After all, who run the world? Girls!"
