“Graduation in medicine is difficult but when you know this is something you love, you give your 100%. That’s probably the case with all professions, but when you’re a doctor, you’re dealing with a person’s life. You need to understand the seriousness. It wouldn’t be too much to say that people treat doctors like Gods. We get so much respect, it makes us want to be more deserving and do good, irrespective of the sacrifices it calls for. We have a couple of years to go before we become practising doctors. Once we graduate, we know there’s no looking back. So we try and do all that we can, in terms of fun and enjoyment, now. We might be medical students but we’re students at the end of the day. Bunking one class once in a while isn’t too much, right?”
