“My parents never forced me to pick any particular career. They did not burden me with any expectations from my earnings. So, when the time came, I looked around and joined a hotel management course. I found that cooking was my interest and worked at it. I became a chef and am in this profession for over a decade. Things have looked up on salary front too and it’s reached a 5-figure. But….money, position, and fame are secondary. Customer delight and repeat customers are the most important things for me. I am very mindful of these and keep working on my craft. I also come up with new menu items to satisfy their palate. So whenever a customer orders my dish again, it’s music to my ears. I enjoy cooking and can go on for hours and days…but home is one place I don’t cook. My mother doesn’t let me do it. I don’t mind at all, as I like being a repeat customer for her kitchen anytime. She can happily serve the same dishes over and over again. There’s absolutely no need to change the menu and my delight is guaranteed”. #Hyderabad #HumansOfHyderabad
