“In retrospect, migrating to Hyderabad from my hometown, Gulbarga, was the right thing to do. I came here about 30 years ago with my family. We struggle to make ends meet in the city also, but there are more opportunities for jobs. I’ve been selling these balloons for a few years now. Even on a day when I didn’t earn anything, I look at a kid’s happy face after spotting his favourite balloon – that’s enough to brighten my day.”
