“The moment I heard about the COVID-19 outbreak in India, I thought I should design something unique to create awareness among the public. I have made cars and bikes of different designs earlier too — a cage shaped car to save birds, helmet shaped car for head safety, cigarette bike to quit the smoking habit, condom bike to spread awareness on AIDS, and now the Corona car.
The novel corona virus outbreak has certainly taken the world by a storm, and there is a complete lockdown in the Telangana state until 30th of April, considering its increasing numbers of affected persons. In order to encourage people to adhere the lockdown norms by staying home and maintain social distancing, I’ve made this coronavirus car.
Through this, I want to spread a clear message to public not to come out of their house and stay safe. I had worked hard for 10 days continuously to design this single seater car. The specifications of this car includes a 100cc engine and has six wheels, and a fibre body. It can touch a maximum speed of 40 kmph.
As the numbers of COVID-19 positive are increasing day by day, I am now planning to donate this car to Hyderabad City police to help create more awareness about it among the public. The government authorities, doctors, healthcare workers, and police are working continuously for our safety and it’s the responsibility of each and everyone of us to abide the lockdown norms and support them for a safer tomorrow!”
