“India feels like home. Well almost… I miss my country (Somalia) and family but nobody here makes me feel like an outsider. I’ve lived here for a while now. I’ve been to Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Goa as well, but I love Hyderabad the most. One reason is the delicious Biryani available in mandis. The love for cinema, food and the colours in the streets… There’s so much to do here. I have many Telugu friends and I watch films with them. Although I don’t understand the language much, I enjoy hooting and dancing to popular songs. Not sure if you can find this anywhere else in the world. It’s crazy here!”
