Team HoH: Hello! What are you all doing?

Kids: We are discussing our chores for tomorrow.

Team HoH: Oh. What work do you all do?

Kids: We help our parents at home with their work. So we are discussing that.

Team HoH: Okay. How about your school?

Kids: We all study at Upper Primary School at Basavtharakam Nagar. But our school has been shut for the last eight months because of CoVID19.

Team HoH: Oh, okay. Don’t you have classes?

Kids: Yes. We do. We have our classes held online. They are also being broadcast on television. But we are unable to access them as our TV sets are not recharged.

We don’t have phones and the Internet to study, so we are unable to access the class sessions.

Team HoH: Okay. Didn’t you approach your school teachers regarding this problem?

Kids: Yes. We did. Our Principal was supportive. They are trying to arrange special tuitions for us but as of now, no one came to take special classes. We are unable to study because of a lack of resources.

Team HoH: How do you want to go about it now?

Kids: We don’t know if the school will be open again and we don’t want to miss learning. When we were in school, we used to play games with our friends. Before the CoVID19 outbreak, the school fed us meals each school day, but now the school feeding program has stopped. We just hope it will start again soon.
