I’ve been selling these toys here for 15 years now in Hyderabad. I started right here in Sultan Bazaar and it’s quite surprising how much the place has changed over the years. The metro station, the fancy shopping malls, mobile stores, cinemas – Oh my goodness, the more the people, the more the business and it helps the street vendors like us to stay afloat.

Goals? Well, my biggest goal is to educate my children who are now studying in classes 6 and 8. They are in our village right now. As long as I could provide for my family and educate my children, I’m happy.

My son wants to become a big officer in the police department and my daughter, a software engineer. I know it’s not going to be easy so I am also looking for better business options.

Times have been tough since the COVID-19 outbreak as the majority of families are avoiding non-essentials, but I hope that this festive season would bring some happiness to me and also to everyone around.”
