“Like most middle class and orthodox families, my parents wanted to get me married after I completed my diploma. But I wanted to work and be independent, before I settle down with anybody. During my diploma course, I met Satish, who offered to help my classmates and me with engineering fees. He insisted I studied, but my family needed me. So I chose to work with his organisation, Helping Hands Humanity, while pursuing my education.

Although I want to work for free, I need to support my family. So I take a minimum amount and do my best to make these kids better human beings. I also educate children in slums once in a month. If one person can help so many others through this organisation, I can do my bit to make it better.”
