“My father always insisted on having long term planning for whatever I do in my life. He provided me with the best of facilities he could even though I belonged to a humble background. However, the planning didn’t work for me. There’s destiny and things happen accordingly – this is what I believed in life.
After class 12, I packed my bags and left my hometown Gulbarga to earn a living. I learnt the nuances of the mobile repairing and accessories business in Bombay. After two years of work, I was able to save up some money and thought of starting something on my own here. I used to maintain a small godown for mobile accessories back then and I felt to start a mobile accessories shop here in Hyderabad. It was only after reaching the city that I started focusing on things. I started small where I used to repair phones earlier and then started this mobile accessories shop. Over the last ten years, I have been able to get along in life and survive in the mobile field despite the tough competition in the market. All thanks to the technology and my dear customers, the business boomed and today, I am maintaining two small shops, one here in Hyderabad and one in Fort road in Mumbai.
I use my savings to travel across the country during my free time as it gives me happiness and exposure. After Covid, there is no guarantee about financial stability so I am just going with the flow, and trying to make the most of what I have in my control. What’s the point of worrying about the future when you can’t live life to the fullest today?”
