“Art was a blessing to me right from my childhood. I used to do greeting cards in my childhood and that’s how my interest in arts began.
My name is Vishnuvardhan Reddy. I lost my father when I was 2 years old. I don’t even have his picture so I can’t even imagine what he used to look like. After my father passed away, my mother worked extremely hard to take care of me and my brother. Initially, I was more interested in acting rather than logo making. So I joined JNAFAU for fine arts. My mother always supported me. My brother was worried about my career choice. He always used to advise me to study hard, get a decent job and settle in life. However, I always wanted to do acting.
My career as a Movie Logo and poster designer started when I went to meet Mr Laxman Aelay. They were designing a logo for a movie when I was sitting there. I attempted and showed it to them. To my surprise, they liked my work. Then he asked me to be a freelance logo designer and I joined. To date, I have designed more than 500 plus logos for movies and 100 plus movie posters. “Dil” was my first movie logo so it’s always special to me. I have designed ‘Pokiri’, ‘Aagadu’, ‘Simha’, ‘Bommarillu’, ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Raktacharitra’ and many other movies logos in the industry. I strongly believe a logo speaks about the movie. It generates an idea of what a movie is about. I keep that in mind while designing. First I will do a sketch and then use the software to convert it into a logo.
If you ask me what is my favourite among acting and designing? I will say acting. Logo designing is my bread and butter nonetheless I am very passionate about acting. I have acted in a few serials and movies. Right now, I have an acting project in my hand and I am very excited about it. Going forward, I will continue my career as a logo and poster designer as well as build my acting career.”
