“There’s a general misconception that agriculture isn’t a profitable career. But I believe it will be a good career option if one could dedicate their time and scientifically implement the farming methods. There are proven technologies available now and that’s the reason why I chose farming for my livelihood.

After my intermediate education, I did join a Degree course, however, due to certain family circumstances, I had to discontinue my education. I returned to my hometown and turned into a farmer, full-time.

We cultivate different vegetables and seasonal fruits based on the climate and seasons. Today I am glad to be able to provide work for five others who work on a daily wage basis.

I believe proper research on the crop, its production, inputs and most importantly its market value, all these factors play a crucial role in modern-day farming.”
