“Financial freedom is always something I chased after in life and the difficulties at home made me work hard at a young age. I started selling fruits and veggies at the age of 14. I continued even after my marriage despite some resistance at home.
I am married with two children, and I feel happy to be able to educate them in good schools. I travel almost 65 km up and down every day, however, when it comes to the happiness and well-being of the family, everything seems possible.
One thing that’s strange to me is that despite being equally skilled, there are still quite a few families, especially in rural areas, who rarely expect the women of the family to work after marriage. Marriage and career are two separate aspects and it’s high time every family realizes this.
I want my children to be well provided for and this job helps me to fulfill that dream. Of course, not every day is going to be fruitful but I accept it and move ahead with the hope of a better tomorrow.”
