It is said that Sharjah Shake was first introduced in Hyderabad city 15 years ago having been inspired by the late Kalanthan Koya who introduced this drink in India at Calicut. The drink was an experiment made with Njalipoovan, frozen milk, and sugar. Keeping the main ingredients the same, we started adding Bournvita and even coffee powder along with nuts according to the customers’ preferences.”
