“It’s Christmas, and yay for gifts, treats, and being with loved ones! On Christmas Eve, my family and I can’t wait for the 25th.
Two years ago, the Covid-19 pandemic made things tricky. We had a virtual celebration, not what we wanted. But this year, we hope to celebrate together. Relatives, friends, and family are coming to our Church. The exciting part is Secret Santa—we’re so excited to swap presents. We start our day with the morning mass, then go to the cemetery to say prayers for our dear ones. After that, we come home, cook yummy things like plum cake, candy canes, and Christmas goose.
While having fun, we also pray for the end of the pandemic. Christmas brings hope and positivity to everyone who needs it during these days of fear.”
