“I’ve always had a deep passion for the food business, stemming from my childhood days spent watching my father run the popular Liberty Cafe in LB Nagar. Despite facing setbacks when the lease was lost, my entrepreneurial spirit remained unshaken. After completing my Bachelor of Business Administration and a stint at a top MNC, I realized my heart belonged elsewhere.
Growing up in a traditional Muslim household, Sheer Khurma held a special place in our hearts, especially during Ramadan.
So, when the idea struck, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Armed with determination, I embarked on the journey of starting a cloud kitchen specializing in authentic Sheer Khurma, a dish beloved by Hyderabadi locals and beyond.
The initial days were tough. We struggled to gain traction, with just a handful of orders trickling in. But we persevered, introducing our stall at the secretariat on Saturdays, slowly catching the eye of passersby and garnering attention on social media through the help of food bloggers.
Beyond Sheer Khurma, our menu expanded to include a variety of authentic Hyderabadi dishes, from kebabs to biryani, fruit salads to ice cream desserts. Within two years, what started as a humble venture blossomed into Sheer Khurma House, employing two professional chefs and support staff, earning recognition as a brand. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my parents, the encouragement of friends and family, and the resilience to push through challenges. My approach remains grounded in quality, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
Today, as I look ahead, I see endless possibilities. But amidst the dreams and ambitions, there’s a vital lesson I’ve learned – success isn’t just about the destination, but the journey itself. It’s about embracing setbacks, staying true to your vision, and above all, having the courage to pursue your passions relentlessly. So, to anyone out there with a dream, remember, with patience, determination, and a sprinkle of faith, you can turn your dreams into reality.”
