“I’ve always been fascinated by train journeys. After my industrial training, I joined Indian Railways as a train attendant. The job stability was good, but what really excited me was getting to travel across our amazing country. Every trip, I’m responsible for ensuring passengers in the AC compartments have a comfortable and safe journey and I enjoy interacting with them and making sure they have a safe travel experience. During the journey breaks, I love exploring the local cities, trying out the local food, and discovering hidden gems – it’s a thrill that never gets old! As a railway attendant, I take pride in my job, knowing that I’m not just traveling, but also playing a small part in connecting people and places. And soon, I hope to take my skills to the next level by becoming a technician – I’m currently pursuing further education to make that dream a reality. When we stop at big cities like Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, I make it a point to venture out, soak up the local culture, and experience the unique flavor of each place.
