“I’m 75 years young and I’ve never felt more alive! Today, I spent two hours of my life doing something that gives me immense pride – participating in the cleaning drive of Kapra Lake. I joined the Kapra Lake Revival Group’s Marathon Cleanup drive, and let me tell you, it was an experience I’ll never forget.
As I looked around at the trash and plastic choking our beautiful lake, I knew I had to do something. I couldn’t just sit back and watch our environment suffer. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Every piece of trash I picked up felt like a small victory. And when I saw the smiles on the faces of the other volunteers, I knew we were all in this together.
We need to take care of our planet, our home. We need to come together as a community and make a change. That’s why I’m supporting the Kapra Lake Revival Group’s efforts to clean and restore our lake.
Let’s work together to make a difference, starting today. Let’s reduce our plastic use, recycle, and dispose of our waste responsibly. Let’s take small steps towards a greener tomorrow, for ourselves and for future generations.”
