“As a child, I grew up looking up to my Grandfather. He was a Physician and was Dean of Osmania Medical College and Superintendent at Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. Watching him go to the hospital and serve the public always inspired me. Growing up, I was inspired by my father, who is a Gastroenterologist. Looking at him made me have the zeal to become a Doctor and then I went on to achieve my dream!
I traveled for my education all over India. I did my graduation in Karnataka, post Graduation in Maharashtra, with DNB at Rainbow Hospital, Speciality in Child Development in Kerala, and Montessori training at the Asian Institute of Teachers.
I was lucky to have a very supportive family, who understand the profession I am in and encourage me as well. As a pediatric professional (for 15 years now) it gives me immense joy as I work with children. Being a Developmental Pediatrician, I work with children with different needs and I also work on creating awareness on the same.
What I believe in life is if you dream and work hard for something, luck will definitely favor and you will achieve your dream. Life is a beautiful experience and to become successful is a journey, not a destination. It’s okay if you fail too as there is something you would have learnt from it. Doing is often more important than the outcome!”
