“Almost two decades of my life were dedicated to working as a driver across various Gulf countries. As a migrant worker, I witnessed the shared struggles and hardships faced by people in similar circumstances. This experience motivated me to return to my homeland, India, and commit myself to advocating for the rights of fellow migrant workers.
In 2004, I made the conscious choice to return home, fueled by a clear purpose – to shield others from the challenges I had endured. My advocacy extends to securing fair compensation for the families of migrant workers who tragically lose their lives in workplace accidents.
In 2009, I founded the Gulf Returning Members Welfare Society, a humble endeavor aimed at amplifying the voices of migrant workers and championing justice.
I stand committed against the negligence of false agents that lead to such losses, relentlessly pursuing rightful compensation.
My mission revolves around recounting the stories of victims and urging governments to establish specialized departments addressing the struggles faced by those in the Gulf.
Despite the daunting threats that come my way each day, I persevere. Fraudsters may attempt to deter me, but my determination remains unwavering. I’ll continue to push forward until our system rises above its imperfections.”
