“It’s been ten years since I first began performing service (Seva). Every stage is something I adore and respect. Kotideepothsavam is a devotional event held during the Karthika Masam that involves the lighting of one crore oil lamps. I feel incredibly blessed to see how it has grown rapidly year by year.

My job is to volunteer, whether it be helping the crowd, arranging the decorations, or being creative with the flower panels. I absolutely love every part of it, from day 1 to the end, when devotees from different places come here to witness and worship. I come around 3 p.m. and help with everything, volunteering and leave around 10 p.m. Additionally, my husband participates in the service and makes an effort to be present for ten days by juggling his work shifts, and my kids occasionally join in as well. In addition to this, I also perform service at a few other pilgrimages in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, like Tirupati and Srisailam.

Not even one day did I feel tired or stressed while performing sewa, as the passion I put into my work always dominated the tiredness. All I can promise is that going through this procedure will allow you to discover both emotional and physical calm.”
