“Life doesn’t give you what you want,
It gives you what you work for. This is what I have realised through my life experiences.
I am Geetika Gupta, and like everyone else, I too neglected my health over the years.
My journey towards prioritizing a healthy lifestyle began with a not so significant event in my life: I fell down with a fever. But soon everything changed. It impacted my mobility and I became incredibly weak. Even doing simple chores became tough for me. This is when I realised I have been neglecting myself and my health for a long time. Since I used to eat well and was able to do all my daily chores. I had never believed in the importance of exercise or proper nutrition. Instead, I had believed that I am perfectly healthy and episodes of fatigue and mood swings were normal.
However, the experience of being ill and its impact on my mobility served as a turning point for me. With this new found perspective, I decided to make some changes and joined a gym. To my surprise, not only my physical fitness improved but it also had a positive effect on my mental health. I began to feel stronger and more resilient than ever before. During this period, I started questioning the adequacy of my diet, which had been mainly revolved around staple foods such as lentils, bread, rice, milk, and green vegetables. Being a vegetarian, I never had a strong inclination towards consuming fruits, except for a few select types that I preferred.
Although my family and I prepared healthy meals at home and avoided junk food, I noticed that each family member had their own preferences when it came to fruits and vegetables, resulting in a limited variety in our overall diet. Moreover, I observed that the children in my household spent a significant amount of time in front of screens, rarely venturing outside to obtain essential vitamin D, which plays a crucial role in maintaining health and happiness. Encouraging the children to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diets proved to be a challenging task.
During this time, I also discovered a recurring issue with my own health. During my annual health checkups, I would occasionally be diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency and prescribed a month-long course of tablets. Although I would feel better after completing the course, the symptoms would resurface after approximately six months, leading me to repeat the cycle of taking B12 supplements and undergoing blood tests. This repetitive pattern became increasingly exhausting.
Motivated to address these concerns, I embarked on a journey of exploration in the world of vitamins, searching for supplements that offered comprehensive essential nutrients in their natural forms. Although there were many varieties in the market, none offered a comprehensive solution. One had to go for multiple pills and supplements to fulfill their daily essential nutrient needs. This marked the beginning of my journey towards creating healthcare a brand which looks for holistic solutions to meet our bodies’ essential nutritional requirements and support our overall well-being. And to my immense joy, we were able to come up with a medicine which has a combination of all nutrients which our body requires on a daily basis.
Through my experiences, I certainly realised that personal well-being, immunity, and good health are very much important to deal with lifestyle challenges. I am grateful to my family and well-wishers who have supported me in my journey and today with a few lifestyle changes, research and a progressive approach, I am able to establish myself as a successful businesswoman.”
