“Some of my friends make fun of me working in a food stall. I always wanted to start a food court of my own ever since I was a teenager. I have seen many who earned high profits from the roadside stalls and the business lesson that I learnt from them was to ensure quality and consistency.
Well, it’s been 5 years since I started working in this stall. I picked up the skill when I was studying my Intermediate course. I want to work here for a few more days and want to start my own food court business soon. I make all sorts of street food varieties with eggs like bread omelettes, egg burji, burgers, sandwiches, half-boiled and many others.
Coming to whether I have free time – well not really. However, I keep my mornings free to pursue other interests to keep myself motivated at work.
I am working towards my long-term goal which is to start a food court on my own. I think age shouldn’t be a problem until one has the right skill in the area which they want to pursue in life.”
