“Art for me is not just a form of expression but is a part of my everyday life. My paintings are a visual display of colors and textures which allows me to express my thoughts and feelings artistically.
My interest in art and craft started at a very young age. I always dreamt of pursuing Fine Arts as a career but it was difficult to convince my parents about my career choices. They wanted my career to be stable and valued in society. That’s the reason I had to move to Hyderabad from my hometown, Nagarkurnool, to pursue Engineering. However, I continued to paint, and sketch in my free time while pursuing my B.Tech. I used to do several forms of art like oil paintings, mandala art, doodle art, murals, and wall art. The city has given me more exposure to the different forms of art and in a way, I had upgraded my skills after getting more exposure to various forms of art and craft through the guidance of professional artists. One day, when I was alone at my aunt’s place, I painted an empty white wall into a beautiful mural and they were pleasantly surprised to see my art when they returned home. I received a lot of appreciation after that from my family members and friends. I even got an opportunity to do a few commissioned paintings and there was no looking back ever since.
I worked hard in my B.Tech and simultaneously pursued my passion for art and crafts.
In fact, I even had an opportunity to exhibit my artwork in an exhibition and the response I received from the visitors pushed me a step forward to pursue arts full-time.
Today I am proud to say that I am an Art and Crafts teacher, working with a prestigious school, in Hyderabad. I feel content and happy about how my life has transitioned so far.
I believe teaching is not just a duty but a responsibility in shaping the minds of children. It makes me immensely happy whenever kids learn something new every day and artistically express their thoughts through art and crafts. I believe each painting has its own destiny and I try my best to make sure my students
express their creativity through art and craft.”
