“I’ve grown up watching Hyderabad’s summer seasons come alive in Moazzam Jahi Market. My grandfather, Mr. Mohammed Haleem, used to tell me stories of how he started Famous Icecream back in 1951, and how it became a beacon of hope during the scorching summer months. He’d tell me about the people from different regions who’d come to our shop, seeking refuge from the heat, and how our hand churned fruit ice creams brought smiles to their faces.

As I carry forward my grandfather’s legacy, I’m reminded of the countless summer seasons we’ve shared together. And with every scoop of ice cream we serve, I hope to keep his memory alive, and to bring a little bit of joy to the people of Hyderabad.”
