“Baking has always been my passion, but the decision to start ‘Ghar Ki Bakery’ began out of my search to create safe, healthy treats for my son Anant, who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. After his birth, we learned that his diet needed to be especially clean, cutting out refined sugar, preservatives, and artificial ingredients. Store options were limited, so I started experimenting in my own kitchen. My goal was simple: to give Anant snacks and desserts he could truly enjoy without worry.
As I tried new recipes, my husband and kids stood by me, always eager to taste and offer their honest feedback. Moving to Hyderabad in 2020 marked the beginning of a bigger dream. I officially launched Ghar Ki Bakery to share these eggless, vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free recipes with others.
Friends and neighbors tasted my bakes, and word spread quickly as people genuinely enjoyed the health, flavor, and thoughtfulness in every product.
Orders began to come in from across the city, and with each customer, my belief grew stronger that mindful baking could bring more people together at the table. Along the way, I poured my heart into developing recipes that catered to a wide range of dietary needs, making sure that every family could celebrate special moments with safe, delicious treats.
In June 2025, winning the Asia Cake Oscar in Colombo for the Cupcake Advanced Category was an unforgettable moment. Standing on stage, I felt extremely grateful for the constant support of my husband and kids, and for everyone who cheered me on throughout this journey.
Being recognized among the best vegan cakes in Hyderabad was another proud milestone, showing that authenticity and dedication really do reach people.
