“From a young age, I was drawn to art, spending hours sketching and experimenting with different mediums. Little did I know that this love for art would shape my future in ways I never imagined.
In 2013, I moved to Hyderabad to pursue my post-graduation. While my studies were important, my passion for art never faded. It all started in 2014 when I decided to carve miniature sculptures on pencil leads as a unique gift for a friend. Though I faced many challenges, such as breaking countless pencil tips, the process fascinated me. It felt like I had discovered a new form of creative expression.
After my post-graduation, I worked in the corporate sector in data analytics. But my passion for micro-art only grew stronger. Balancing work and creativity wasn’t easy, but I kept nurturing both. Over time, I created several pieces, including sculptures of historical monuments, portraits of iconic figures, and abstract designs. Each piece requires time, precision, and focus.
Using pencil graphite as my canvas, I’ve created intricate sculptures, including the 7 Wonders of the World, and crafted lifelike pencil portraits that capture human emotions with precision.
What began as a personal passion has grown into a recognized skill, earning me the title of one of the fastest micro-artists.
However, my journey doesn’t stop at personal success. I wanted to give back to the community that had supported me along the way. That’s why I founded The Art Artist, a community initiative aimed at supporting, connecting, and empowering artists—especially those just starting out. I recognized that many artists struggle to find platforms to showcase their work and connect with others. Through The Art Artist, I wanted to create a network where artists of all mediums could come together, share knowledge, and support each other’s growth. The initiative also provides opportunities for artists to display and sell their work through events like flea markets and meetups.
One of the highlights of my journey was speaking at TEDx KLU, where I shared my story and emphasized how a pencil and a dream can take you anywhere. It was a proud moment that affirmed my belief in the power of following one’s passion.
Today, as an entrepreneur, micro-artist, and TEDx speaker, I continue to push the boundaries of micro-art, experimenting with new ideas and techniques. Through social media, I share my work and encourage others to explore their creative side. Looking back, I realize that every step—from my childhood days in Khammam to my time in Hyderabad has shaped who I am today. Art has always been my companion, and I look forward to where it will take me next.”
