”I grew up playing around these pillars of Charminar. It was a time when there were no tickets and no rules. I used to sleep anywhere inside this monument. Many tourists from different parts of the world would come here, and some of them would give me a few coins. I always used to save them. When I grew up, I started collecting coins. Today, I have coins as old as 700 years and every currency that exists in the world. I’ve been doing this for more than 30 years now. Even police and people in this vicinity recognise me, nobody ever causes any trouble to us. I love interacting with people from all over the world. In fact, when foreigners come and meet me, I keep bragging about our India to them. I love apna Hyderabadi culture. I can speak many languages including English. Allah has blessed me with good values and a good life. I always only hope he keeps all my well-wishers and family happy too.”
