“Recently I
suffered an injury to my legs, and the doctor advised me to give them rest. But
how can I sit idle when I have a family to feed? So, here I am standing just
like any other day for the past 25 years…with all my varieties of knives and
sharpening equipment.

My business has many lean periods and the last two months have been pretty
dull. But I don’t mind as my needs are limited and a few good days will cover
it. So every day when I stand here…I say to myself, if I get through this day
with food in my belly, I will count my blessings and look forward to the next
