“To begin my music journey, it all started in my class 1. My parents were trying to find my hidden talents. They tried to put me in dance and painting. I didn’t really seem interested. But I was later put into the keyboard class. I was showing a lot of interest to learn and play songs from movies. After a few years, I started playing them on my own without any guidance.
I then decided to explore and learn different kinds of music, both classical and western. So, after my class 10, I had to put a pause because my parents said studies were more important. In my B.Tech first year, I became a part of a music band. Being a part of a band is really fun because you get to play with other musicians as well. We then performed in many events at college and outside too. At that point of time, a close friend of mine and a well-wisher introduced me to the world of music programming. From there I started experimenting. I used to recreate songs, trying to use the same chords and melody for different tunes. Unfortunately, during the mid March of 2020, there was a total lockdown in India. I know lockdown has impacted many lives in different ways but mine was a positive one indeed.
I started learning more about the art form and other softwares. My parents were worried about my studies, so I used to learn and practice in the midnight when they slept. My first ever paid work was for an advertisement. Slowly I started composing my own songs. My first song is called “Antaryuddham”. It’s about one’s fight with their inner self. Slowly I started composing for others too. Now I’m working as a music director for a film for background scores. Without my parents, my friends and support of my well-wishers, this wouldn’t have been possible. I heartfully thank each one of them and seek their blessings for a lucrative career ahead.”
