“Even as a child, I was quite creative. There has always been an inclination towards painting. Perhaps, it was my love for painting that earned me some medals in school. Though art was always been on my mind, I had to chose academics over it soon after I got into my 10th standard.

The doors to the world of art opened up again after I quit my job as a radio jockey. I became certain that painting is what I always wanted to do.

Nature is what incredibly inspires me when it comes to painting. Artists have the privilege of painting a different world on the canvas. There is scope for creativity and imagination! No limitations or boundaries.

My life turned around when I was 22. I was determined to attend painting workshops and no sooner I fell in love. I was in awe of a girl who was barely 19 years old, conducting painting workshops. I was inspired by her to do what our heart says and loves.

To be honest, when I was conducting my first art workshop, I thought no one was going to attend the session. I was very casual about it. To my surprise, I had 12 students attend. I had to pinch myself, hahaha!”
