“My journey into medicine, specifically Gynecological surgery and Office Histeroscopy, has always been driven by the women I serve. Their strength and resilience inspire me daily, pushing me to continually improve. Their well-being is my greatest reward.
With over a decade of experience now, the most rewarding part of my career is seeing women leave the hospital happy, cured, and well-informed. Knowing that my work has made a tangible difference in their lives is incredibly fulfilling. This satisfaction drives my dedication to advancing women’s health care, particularly in treating pelvic floor disorders.
During my time in medical college, I had the unique opportunity to study in Hyderabad and Pondicherry. Learning the local languages, Telugu and Tamil, directly from my patients was one of the most enriching experiences. It helped me communicate more effectively and connect on a deeper level with the women I aimed to help. Their stories, shared in their native tongues, were both humbling and enlightening.
A significant advancement in this field is office hysteroscopy procedures. These don’t require patient admission or anesthesia, allowing women to walk in and out of the clinic within an hour. They are incredibly useful for diagnosing and treating common gynecological issues like fibroids, polyps, endometriosis, cancer lesions, and infertility-related problems. As one of the leading gynecologists in India to master these procedures, I’m passionate about promoting their benefits, especially in Hyderabad, where many working women could greatly benefit from such efficient medical care.
Many women are told that issues like urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse are just a part of aging or something to expect after childbirth. I strongly oppose this dismissive attitude. These conditions deserve serious attention and proper treatment, whether through conservative or surgical management.
Looking ahead, my goals are clear. I aim to continue spreading awareness about the benefits of office hysteroscopy and other advanced treatments for pelvic floor disorders.”
