“My dream to see the world and leave a mark has always pushed me forward. I’ve spent years working hard in big companies, chasing success. But, something felt missing, pulling me back to India.
I’m G.M. Rao. I’ve been in the legal field for over two decades. Helping those in need brings me great satisfaction. Many come to me, struggling to pay. I believe my education and values guide me to support them in the right way.
Growing up with my father, a retired government school headmaster, taught me the value of rules, ethics, wise spending, and being morally upright.
Speaking up for truth and fairness against injustice has become natural to me. Many disadvantaged women lack knowledge about getting pensions from their husbands and struggle with the legal system.
During my journey, self-reflection led me to question my purpose, drawing me to ashrams in Rishikesh to study Advita Vedanta philosophy. Spirituality is often overlooked, so I visit schools and colleges, guiding the youth. I provide free legal aid to the less privileged and engage in various social endeavors. Initiatives like ‘Main Tulsi Teri Aangan Ki’ and projects for women’s empowerment hold a special place in my heart.
Success doesn’t come easy; it demands relentless focus and hard work. India, a land of liberty, also offers vast opportunities for growth. Embracing the legal profession has enabled me to not only uphold justice but also take on the responsibility of educating and serving our nation in my own unique way.”
