“I am a bajji seller who’s been satiating people’s hearts for over 35 years now. It all started when my wife tasted the bajjis I cooked on a weekend, taking a break from the daily chores. She was quite amazed by the food I cooked and strongly backed me to start a food court of my own. I used to be a daily wager before that, and she encouraged me to start this street food stall of my own in the city. After a few initial hiccups in the business, I came up with the idea of upgrading the recipes by adding more varieties like brinjal bajji, banana bajji, muri mixture along with mirchi bajji and aloo bajji offering it out to all the people in the city. Gradually with an ever-growing demand regardless of the season, I ensured to keep the trade afloat through the last three decades selling bajjis for a living. The Feedback too is straight and has always helped improve the quality. But the most rewarding part has to be filling people to their stomach’s content. The life lesson I have learned over the years is to be kind and sincere with whatever we do in life, it’s the process that defines our success.
Today I am still running my small food business for livelihood and I am grateful to the people and this city, as they have given me an identity of my own.
It’s a whole different kind of happiness you see – one that cannot be matched, or achieved in any other field!”
