“I had just closed my shop and stepped out for dinner when I got a call saying there was fire in my store. Fortunately, I was about 2km away so I could rush and stop it. But everything was destroyed. I had built the car decor store with a lot of love and hard work. I saw all of it burn in front of my eyes, but there wasn’t much I could do. My wife was also pregnant at the same time and it was very difficult to deal with the stress, while trying to be strong in front of her so she isn’t affected. I realised that if I kept worrying for what happened, I can never get up again. So I spent a month setting it up again and travelling across the country to other popular automobile accessories outlets. After a month, everything was back and I was finally relieved. My customers also came back to us with orders, which helped me rebuild all of it. I loved cars and everything related to it so much. Even today my family asks me to invest wisely in other fields to avoid loss. I can’t help but spend on automobiles alone. I first learnt to drive a car – an ambassador – at the age of 12 by bribing my driver because my father wouldn’t allow me. My love for cars has been a constant since then. Nothing can change that!”
