“I still remember the day I decided to pursue dentistry – it was a path I never thought I’d take, but it’s been a journey that has brought me immense joy and fulfillment. Growing up, I was always fascinated by biology and the human body, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to the field of dentistry that I realized my true calling. There’s something about transforming smiles and changing lives that resonated with me, and I knew I had to be a part of it.
During my BDS, I was exposed to various specialties, but Orthodontics intrigued me the most. The ability to transform smiles, correct bites, and boost confidence resonated with me. I pursued my MDS in Orthodontics, and it’s been a rewarding experience.
Initially, I was apprehensive about Orthodontics due to the wires and pliers. However, my perception changed dramatically over time. I grew to appreciate how orthodontics transforms smiles while preserving dental health. The ability to redesign aesthetic smiles and use orthopedic appliances, especially for children, felt like uncovering a form of magic within dentistry.
The COVID-19 era was a significant hurdle, but I utilized the lockdown to prepare for NEET MDS. I spent countless hours studying, and my hard work paid off. My husband and I run our clinic together, handling orthodontic cases, implants, and more. We’ve built a reputation for our expertise, and patients trust us with their smiles.
As a mother to a six-month-old, balancing work and personal life is crucial. I prioritize tasks, maintain a clear vision, and make time for self-care. My baby’s smile motivates me to work harder and be a better version of myself. I’m grateful for the support of my family, especially my husband.
I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with others, which is why I’m active on social media platforms like Instagram. I use these platforms to educate patients, share tips, and provide insights into the world of dentistry. Additionally, I also provide guidance and resources for NEET aspirants, drawing from my own experiences and expertise. I believe that knowledge sharing is key to empowering individuals to take control of their oral health and achieve their academic goals. Through my social media presence, I aim to break down barriers and make dentistry more accessible to everyone.
Through my journey, I’ve learned that being a dentist is not just about fixing teeth; it’s about transforming lives. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a difference and inspire others to pursue their passions, just as I have.
To aspiring dentists, I say: be committed, work harder than yesterday, and never give up. Surround yourself with positivity, and always keep learning.”
