“I’ve always been fascinated by storytelling and how ideas can connect people. Whether it was my childhood obsession with postcards or my later passion for video production, I’ve always believed in the power of communication to create an impact.
I completed my undergraduate studies at St. Francis College, where I first started exploring my interest in the media. During this time, I interned at O&M Advertising Agency in Hyderabad. It was an eye-opening experience that introduced me to the creative possibilities in advertising.
After graduation, I pursued a Master’s in Mass Communication at the University of Hyderabad (UoH), specializing in radio and video production. My time at UoH was pivotal—it gave me the foundation and technical expertise to dive deeper into the world of media. Soon after, I interned at NDTV, a step that brought me closer to understanding the nuances of professional storytelling.
From there, I transitioned to a video production role at a client-focused events company, where I worked on capturing and creating content for various events. Eventually, I entered the television entertainment industry, where I had the opportunity to work on some of the most popular Telugu television shows, including Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and Bigg Boss Telugu. My work with Big Synergy, a renowned production house in Mumbai, was especially transformative. The professionalism and respect I observed there became guiding principles for my career.
By 2018, I felt a strong urge to start something of my own. Entrepreneurship was always in my blood—my father and brothers are business owners, and their journeys inspired me to create my path. Along with a like-minded colleague, I co-founded Booth Fellows, initially called Daydreamers Media back then. For two years, we worked on corporate shoots, ads, BTS (behind-the-scenes) content, and television projects. “
Post-COVID, I rebranded the company as Postcard Motion Pictures, drawing inspiration from my love for postcards. To me, postcards are a simple yet powerful way to communicate messages in a crisp, impactful manner.
Today, I run Postcard Motion Pictures with my co-founder who brought immense value to the team with his experience. Together, we manage social media accounts for several clients, constantly striving to deliver creative and meaningful content.
The journey hasn’t been without challenges. Balancing creative ideas with practical realities often felt like a tightrope walk. Early on, we lost clients trying to explain why some concepts weren’t feasible. But we learned to adapt. Now, we carefully listen to client briefs and come back with tailored suggestions that align with their target audience and goals. Mutual respect and collaboration have become the backbone of our work ethic.
Looking back, my time in Mumbai was instrumental in shaping my approach to work. The discipline and respect I learned there—treating everyone on set, from the spot boy to the director, with equal regard—have become core principles of my leadership style. I’ve instilled these values in my team and the interns we mentor.
The media landscape has evolved significantly, especially post-COVID. With the rise of Gen Z, the demand for quick, engaging content has skyrocketed. This shift has challenged us to adapt, whether it’s creating shorter, snappier videos or finding creative hooks to capture attention in a crowded digital space.
As for the future, I’m excited about what lies ahead for Postcard Motion Pictures. This year, we’re venturing into podcasts, an area that’s still relatively untapped in our region. We’re also exploring merchandising opportunities and working to revive the culture of postcards—a personal passion of mine. Whenever I travel, I send postcards to loved ones, and I want to bring that joy to more people.
Ultimately, my dream is to make Postcard Motion Pictures a leading name in Hyderabad’s digital marketing and advertising space. For too long, clients have preferred agencies in Chennai, Mumbai, and Bangalore. I’m determined to change that and showcase the immense potential Hyderabad has to offer.”
