“During summers, it’s really difficult to work. I make show pieces from Aluminum. These showpieces are exported to different countries across the world. Although there is demand for these pieces in the market, the returns are pretty less. In this process, we work at high temperatures to melt aluminium and create idols. Some of my customers have told me that it’ll affect my skin and health in the long run. But I can’t give up this job thinking about what will happen to me 10 years later. Right now, my wife and two sons need me. We need to survive and this is the only way I came to earn some money. Hopefully, 10 years later, my kids will be old enough and settled in a better work environment. Then they’ll take care of me and I can just retire!”
