“My journey with Kreative Reef started out as a hobby, where I would create simple graphics to visualize my thoughts as a way to relax after work. I then started a page on Instagram where I’d share these posts. Gradually the page grew and people started reaching out to me, saying that a post they saw helped or inspired them in some way.
This gave me tremendous joy and I quit my job to focus on developing Kreative Reef into a community to inspire people to be more creative.
I believe that creativity is an essential aspect of the human wellbeing, but the process can sometimes be frustrating, which makes it difficult to stay inspired and keep up momentum, especially when you are figuring out your own creative process.
Realizing the struggles of my own creative process, I launched my site to share things I’ve learnt from my own creative struggles and music that’s inspired me. I’ve also shared tips in the form of blogs other free resources.
By sharing my creative process with others, I hope to make it easier for others to pursue their own creative passions.
The one thing I would like to advise youngsters is to be excited about developing their creative side. I believe regularly dedicating some time to a creative hobby, helps you grow as a person and discover new parts of yourself.
Whether you find your creative spark through data analysis, dancing or drawing, when you create, you are truly free.”
