“My day begins at 4 am, and I’m awake till 10pm in the night, with the sole intention of serving piping hot tiffin to our customers. When I had shifted from Vizag 12 years ago, I didn’t think I would be here as the official cook of one of the most popular restaurants, Purna Tiffin Centre. I’ve served some of the most legendary actors and even MS Dhoni – that was one of my biggest achievements. He was here about 10 years ago, and he loved our ghee idli. I often get orders to send boxes of our delicacies to Pawan Kalyan and Manchu family, among others. Apart from all this, what I’m really proud of is the fact that customers still praise us for our consistency in the taste and quality of food. That is the most cherished compliment for a chef.

I had moved to Hyderabad in search of a livelihood. I was in knee deep financial crunch, which led me to join as a daily wage worker at many places. I had moved to Krishna Nagar with a hope to go greater heights in the field of cinema but fate had something else in store for me. Thanks to the training I had in cooking, I am here as Purna Tiffin Center’s official cook. I still dream of entering the film industry and doing one good role that can fetch me name and fame. I keep telling myself that it will happen one day. After all, what is life without hope?”
