“I clearly remember the day when my parents were against me joining hotel management. It took time convincing them that it will be a good career option. During my training days, I had to work for over 18 hours and felt many times why should I clean dirty plates and serve others for a mere 5000 as salary. But after getting trained in some of the top hotels in Hyderabad, my interest in the service industry grew and now, I am a senior Bartender in Hyderabad’s most famous lounge. I have a clear idea about different spirits and even suggest my customer’s various drinks depending on their mood. For me, my customer is god and I deal with them in a very polite manner even if they are high. I order food and even book a cab back home for them. Now, my parents are happy as I am earning well and suggest hotel management as a career option to others.
