“I have been a mobile tiffin vendor for almost 15 years now. I had done several odd jobs earlier but nothing worked out. That’s when I decided to move to Hyderabad, with the hope of a better life. I felt Hyderabad was a good place to earn a decent living so that I could build a house for my family. My wife suggested I try this mobile tiffin business. I felt it was a good business option considering the demand in the city and there was no looking back.
We sell different dishes of South Indian breakfast such as idli, vada, dosa, upma, mysore bonda, and uttapam. It is a lot of hard work. My wife and I wake up at 3 am to make it all and I come here by 6 am and by 10:30 am, we’re sold out.
In the initial days when we started this business, I used to sell a plate of any dish for just 5 rupees. Now we sell it for 15 rupees.
Over the years, we’ve built a customer base that loves our tiffins more than the ones served at big restaurants. Now that’s something to be proud of, isn’t it?”
