“Navratri has always been an auspicious festival for our family. Nine days of fasting, poojas, Garba, Dandiya nights, and Durga Puja – each day has its own meaning. I enjoy dressing up in traditional clothes, dancing with friends and family, and being part of the celebrations.
As a working mom, it’s not always easy to manage everything. But we make it work. We do our daily poojas, keep the fasts, and prepare a simple vrat ki thali. And no matter how busy things get, I make sure to go for Garba, Dandiya, and visit a few Durga Puja pandals.
I remember my childhood – home full of lights, music, and laughter. Those memories are why Navratri feels so meaningful. I want my son to experience the same – to enjoy the traditions and understand their value. It’s not just about rituals; it’s about keeping our culture alive.
Even as life gets busier, I hope we don’t lose these festivals. I want future generations to celebrate Navratri with the same joy and togetherness we do today.”
