“We have been attending the Koti Deepotsavam for the past few years, volunteering and performing cultural programmes at NTR Stadium in Hyderabad. This year, the event began on 1 November and will continue till 13 November 2025.
Koti Deepotsavam, organised by Bhakthi TV, is one of the biggest spiritual gatherings in the country. It’s held during Karthika Masam and features the lighting of one crore diyas, symbolising faith and devotion. The event brings together spiritual representations and rituals from Shakti Peetams, Jyotirlingas, temples, and other sacred centres across India.

When we step on stage and witness the entire stadium glowing with diyas, the chants in the background and the devotion of people make the atmosphere truly special. You see families, students, and volunteers all gathered for the same purpose — that’s what makes Koti Deepotsavam special.
We volunteer every year — arranging flowers, helping with the stage decorations, performing in the cultural programmes, and taking part in Kolatam. We’ve seen our elders perform Kolatam during festivals, and now it’s our turn to keep that tradition going. Performing here reminds us that some traditions aren’t just to be seen but to be carried forward.”
