”Summer is our most awaited season. We wait for it all through the year. Summer is the only time when people make it a point to stop-by to have a refreshing drink of coconut water. For the last 15 years, people have been showing interest towards store sold cool drinks and soda. Due to the change in people’s choices, our livelihood is going through a rough patch. Infact, my husband had to work additionally at some other place to make enough money. We try to tell our costumers the importance of coconut water and how good it is for their health. Thankfully, in the last 2-3 years, there seems to be an awareness being spread about healthier lifestyle options and people are slowly going back to our age-old cooling drink- coconut water. I hope they buy it from people like us and not go to big malls that sell the adulterated coconut water in packaged bottles.”
