“I have always admired Arijith Singh and A R Rahman Sir’s music and practised the chords by listening to their songs. That’s also one of the reasons which motivated me to pursue music in life.

My name is Rishabh and I am a lead vocalist for a Band called Vivid. Singing was my hobby initially but now it has become my profession.  As the majority of the middle-class parents, mine were worried about my carrier choice.

I couldn’t gain their trust because of certain situations. Honestly, I wasn’t much aware of the scales and chords in music back then. There’s constant pressure from the people outside my family about my career too. It was difficult but I was determined to learn and over time, I picked up the skill.

After Class 12, I quit the mainstream college and did a course in singing. Over time, I have performed in many live events and I am grateful for the tremendous support from the people.

If you ask me about how social platform helps artists like us for demonstrating their talents – it totally depends on the individual, in some cases an individual receives lots of appreciation and fame but lack music knowledge but still scale heights. In other cases, many talented singers struggle hard to let their talent be visible on the internet but it doesn’t go as intended. So everything has a pro and a con one should accept it and never give up till they achieve what is theirs.”
